On October 24th 2006 Leyland Olympian 7293 (CUB68Y) is seen picking up passengers in St. Mary's Place, Newcastle, prior to setting off for Whitley Bay on the 44 service. This vehicle is now unique in being the only Roe-bodied Olympian still operated by Arriva Northumbria. The bus was originally new to West Yorkshire PTE in 1982 as fleet number 5068.
