A much-missed north east independent who operated a very interesting variety of vehicles. In March 1995 the company became part of the Go-Ahead group, although the OK name continued to be used for several more years which is when the majority of these shots were taken.

This 1959 Plaxton-bodied AEC Relience 129DPT gave over 20 years service with OK.  After withdrawal it was preserved and is seen here at Gypsies Green Stadium, South Shields after participating in the 1996 HCVS Tyne Tees Run.

In 1978 OK purchased three former Southdown Northern Counties-bodied Leyland PD3/4s.  BUF279C is seen here on the 25th August 1986 at Leam Lane, operating a special service between Heworth Metro and Bowes Railway via the North East Bus Museum.

Park Royal-bodied AEC Regent V PFN858 at Leam Lane on August 25th 1986.  The vehicle was originally new to East Kent in 1959 and was acquired with the buy-out of Bishop Auckland-based Lockeys during 1985, whose livery it continued to carry.

This 1952 Leyland Royal Tiger, EJR791, was rebodied in 1966 with Plaxton coachwork and was still in service with OK when seen here in 1986 at the North East Bus Museum's open day rally.

The Duple 300 service bus body was never all that common, only being produced for a short period towards the the end of Duple's existense.
